Skills: SAP Controlling (CO) Consultant

Location: Vizag

Experience Range: 5 to 10 years

Must Have Skills:

1. Design, configure, and support SAP Controlling (CO) solutions for manufacturing and supply chain operations.

2. Work on CO modules including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.

3. Implement and support costing processes such as standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.

4. Analyze manufacturing cost structures and optimize cost control mechanisms.

5. Collaborate with Finance (FI) team for seamless FI-CO integration and financial reporting.

6. Support product costing, cost roll-ups, and material price determination processes.

7. Configure and maintain controlling area, cost elements, cost centers, and profit centers.

8. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities including allocations and settlements.

9. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.

10. Analyze variances in production, inventory, and overhead costs to improve profitability.

11. Integrate SAP CO with modules like MM, PP, SD, and FI for end-to-end business processes.

12. Develop reports and dashboards using SAP reporting tools (Report Painter, Fiori, BW if applicable).

13. Perform system testing (unit, SIT, UAT) to ensure system accuracy and compliance.

14. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to costing and controlling processes.

15. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.

16. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams globally.

17. Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes.

18. Required Certifications: SAP Certified Application Associate – Management Accounting (CO), SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred), ITIL Foundation.

19. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Material Ledger, Actual Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Fiori apps.

20. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with manufacturing domain experience.
