Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to support and manage SAP systems across the full lifecycle in a modern S/4HANA, Fiori, and cloud-based landscape. The role involves hands-on Basis operations, system changes, performance management, and collaboration with technical teams on ongoing projects and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on SAP Basis support across S/4HANA environments
- Handle system installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance
- Monitor system performance and resolve incidents
- Manage SAP transports (STMS / ChaRM) across landscapes
- Support HANA database administration, backups, and recovery
- Work with technical teams on changes, releases, and deployments
- Drive continuous improvement and automation in Basis operations
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SAP Basis experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong knowledge of:
- SAP HANA database
- SAP NetWeaver & Fiori
- Linux or Windows OS
- SAP monitoring & performance tuning
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus
- Exposure to DevOps / release management preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Nice to Have
- SAP Basis or HANA certifications
- Experience with SAP BTP, CPI, or Solution Manager
- Basic scripting (Shell / Python)
- SAP Security exposure
