About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA VIM Consultant with strong expertise in OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP) along with hands-on experience in SAP FI and MM modules, and a proven track record in end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SAP VIM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Configure and customize OpenText VIM solutions as per business needs
- Drive blueprinting, system design, and solution architecture
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
- Prepare detailed test strategies, plans, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, Technical)
- Conduct end-user training and provide post-go-live support
- Ensure smooth integration with OpenText tools (ICC/BCC, Archive Server, Enterprise Scan)
Required Skills & Expertise
SAP VIM & OpenText
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA VIM (preferably VIM 16.3; minimum VIM 7.5)
- Expertise in:
- ArchiveLink configuration
- VIM Document Types
- Indexing Screen Enhancements
- Approval Class Enhancements
- Chart of Authority
- Process Types & Process Options
- Solid understanding of VIM & ICC functionalities
- Experience with custom enhancements and developments in VIM
SAP Functional Knowledge
- Strong experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Good working knowledge of SAP FI and MM modules
Project & Delivery Experience
- End-to-end project lifecycle experience:
- Requirement gathering & business process mapping
- Blueprint documentation
- System configuration & functional design
- Testing (Unit, Integration, UAT)
- Go-live & hypercare support
- Experience in preparing:
- Test scenarios, test cases, and execution plans
- Test environments and scheduling
- Documentation and sign-offs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation projects
- Exposure to automation and digital invoice processing solutions
- Knowledge of integration with OCR and scanning tools
