Job Description

The role focuses on delivering SAP Commodities Management solutions for commodities trading organizations, covering front, middle, and back-office processes. The position requires strong functional expertise in commodities trading along with hands-on technical capabilities in SAP CM/CPE and related enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver SAP Commodities Management solutions across multiple modules within a single engagement.
  • Analyze and support end-to-end commodities trading processes including front, middle, and back-office operations.
  • Configure and enhance SAP modules such as CM, CPE, MM, SD, and FICO, with optional integration to Treasury.
  • Support and implement solutions for commodities trading including Power, Natural Gas, Coal, Oil, Renewables, and Emissions.
  • Design and support SAP functional solutions aligned with the oil and gas trade lifecycle.
  • Perform SAP Commodities Management enhancements and configuration activities.
  • Develop custom solutions using ABAP including Z programs, function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, and junction functions in the CM/CPE landscape.
  • Configure and enhance Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE) and related components.
  • Support SAP Fiori and SAP XSA-based developments where applicable.
  • Deliver solutions using Agile project delivery methodologies.

Primary Functional Skills

  • Functional expertise in commodities trading and SAP Commodities Management.
  • Strong understanding of SAP functional design for front, middle, and back-office processes.
  • Knowledge of SAP CM, CPE, MM, SD, and FICO modules.
  • Understanding of oil and gas trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience delivering multiple SAP modules within a single engagement.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery models.

Secondary Technical Skills

  • SAP Commodities Management configuration and enhancements.
  • ABAP and S/4HANA development in CM/CPE environments.
  • Development of custom SAP objects including BAPIs, BADIs, function modules, and enhancements.
  • SAP Fiori and XSA development exposure.
  • Configuration and enhancement of SAP Commodity Pricing Engine.
