We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP CO (Controlling) Consultant to join our Managed Services team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring deep technical expertise in SAP CO. You will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our SAP Finance customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing enhancements. This role demands excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise & Support: o Minimum 2 End to End CO Green Field Implementations (S/4 HANA) o Product Costing, MTS, MTOS Experience Mandatary o Provide end-to-end support for SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing (PC, including Material Ledger), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, master data, and transactional issues across CO.
- Support period-end closing activities, cost allocations, and reconciliation processes within CO.
- Collaborate with FI (Financial Accounting), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PM (Plant Maintenance) teams for cross-functional issue resolution and integration support.
- Develop and implement enhancements, reports, and custom developments according to business requirements. o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and test scripts.
- Provide end-to-end business solutions and map client business requirements to system processes.
Customer Management & Communication:
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.
- Liaise with clients to investigate, analyse, and resolve complex issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, providing clear and concise explanations of solutions.
- Work within a remote consulting support team, adhering to service management systems, processes, and SLAs. o Provide timely and accurate work specifications and estimates.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues.
- Recognize and pursue opportunities for repeat business.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• SAP Expertise:
Deep, expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud, On-Premises) and ECC Finance, particularly in Product Cost Controlling (including Material Ledger)
General understanding of other SAP FI modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Electronic Bank Statement, Tax). Strong understanding of integration points between FI/CO/PS and other modules (MM, SD, PM, Billing, Purchasing, Workflow, Concur).
Proven experience in full project lifecycle implementations and development activities.
Expert configuration, design and testing abilities in core CO.
