SAP Co Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Consultant with 4+ years of relevant experience and hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Controlling. The candidate should have successfully participated in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation and must be flexible to travel to client locations based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SAP CO activities across the complete S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP CO solutions.
• Conduct requirement analysis, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Configure and support key SAP CO processes, including:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Cost Object Controlling
• Planning and Budgeting
• Actual and Plan Costing
• Work on integration between SAP CO and FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.
• Configure and support S/4HANA Controlling and Universal Journal processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for required developments and enhancements.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and regression testing.
• Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and master-data-related activities.
• Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and user documentation.
• Conduct workshops and provide training/knowledge transfer to business users.
• Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Analyze and resolve functional issues within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and project management.
• Travel to client locations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of relevant SAP CO experience.
• Must have completed or significantly contributed to at least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration.
• Good understanding of end-to-end Controlling and Management Accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of FI-CO integration and integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionalities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and willing to travel to client locations based on business/project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology preferred.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori and S/4HANA reporting/analytics is an advantage.
• Experience in domestic or international SAP implementation projects is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
• MBA Finance, CMA, CA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
