Job Description:
Role Overview
As the Lead SuccessFactors Global Benefits Consultant, you will serve as the primary architect and functional expert for our benefits ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between complex HR policy and technical execution, leading end-to-end implementations that support thousands of employees across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Configuration: Lead the design, prototype, and full-scale configuration of the SuccessFactors Global Benefits module, including Benefit Types (Insurance, Pensions, Savings, Allowances), Enrollment Windows, and Life Event triggers.
- Business Alignment: Facilitate design workshops with global stakeholders to translate intricate local benefit policies into scalable system requirements.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all system configurations adhere to regional labor laws and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or local statutory requirements).
- Integration Oversight: Partner with the technical team to oversee integrations between SuccessFactors and third-party benefit providers, payroll systems, and insurance carriers.
- Quality Assurance: Define testing strategies, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot complex defects to ensure a zero-error go-live environment.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for junior consultants and HR admins, providing documentation, training, and post-go-live optimization support.
Required Technical Skills
- Certification: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and/or Global Benefits certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced Logic: Proficiency in building Business Rules and MDF (Metadata Framework) objects specifically for benefit eligibility and automated enrollments.
- Reporting: Ability to create custom reports using Canvas Reporting or People Analytics to track benefit participation and costs.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on SuccessFactors implementation experience with at least 2 full-cycle Global Benefits rollouts.
- Analytical Mindset: You can look at a 50-page insurance policy and immediately visualize the logic required to automate it in the system.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical HR Business Partners.
