SAP CAR

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Developer with at least 7 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the development, enhancement, and integration of SAP CAR solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain efficient and high-performance solutions within the SAP CAR environment, supporting retail business processes, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Design, develop, and optimize solutions within the SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR), including data processing, reporting, and integration.

Work with cross-functional teams to outline detailed technical design and specification documents, to meet business needs, considering capabilities, risks, system dependencies, and non-functional requirements around performance, monitoring, and alerting

Optimize ABAP programs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Integrate SAP CAR with other SAP applications such as SAP Retail and external systems using APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, and other integration met.

Participate in project planning and estimation, ensuring the timely delivery of technical solutions.

Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the accuracy and functionality of SAP solutions.

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, delivering solutions in iterative cycles.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the development in a timely and efficient manner.

Keep abreast of emerging technology trends/latest ABAP tools in SAP, advocating for the adoption of innovations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, any related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in ABAP development, with a strong focus on full- cycle SAP implementations.

Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language and SAP development tools (SE80, SE11 etc.)

Strong experience with SAP CAR architecture, including data models, processes, and integration points.

Experience working with WPUUMS, WPUFIB, WPUTAB Idocs

Experience working with ABAP development tools in Eclipse

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, CO, etc.) and their integration points.

Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.

Experience with SAP HANA database and ABAP on HANA (AMDP, CDS views, etc.)

Strong experience with data integration methods, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and RESTful APIs for CAR-related interfaces.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of modern development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
