SAP CAPM + Java Developer

Role Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and extensions

on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the SAP Cloud Application Programming

Model (CAPM) with Java. The role involves building scalable business services, APIs, workflows,

and integrations with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications. The candidate will work

closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver side-by-side

extensions aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP BTP applications using CAPM and Java.

• Develop and expose RESTful and OData services using CAP framework.

• Build side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise systems.

• Develop data models using CDS (Core Data Services).

• Integrate SAP BTP services such as:

o SAP HANA Cloud

o XSUAA

o Destination Service

o Business Rules

o Document Management Service (DMS)

o Workflow / SAP Build Process Automation

• Develop and deploy Multi-Target Applications (MTA).

• Design secure and scalable cloud-native solutions following Clean Core architecture.

• Collaborate with SAP Integration Suite teams for API and middleware integrations.

• Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployments, and production

support.

• Create technical specifications, deployment documentation, and operational runbooks.

Mandatory Requirements

• Hands-on experience in SAP CAPM application development using Java.

• Experience in developing cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.

• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BTP services.

• Experience building side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA.

• Good understanding of SAP Clean Core architecture principles.

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite integrations.
