Job title: SAP BW4HANA QA Engineer:

- Maintain and extend our custom-tailored SAP side self-service framework for test data preparation (i.e. copy/masking data from production)
- Support customers inside and outside Data Foundation (DF) with test data preparation on-behalf
- Take over and improve our processes and tooling for masking sensitive data for test purposes and filtering test data objectors and its legal motivation behind
- Keep FRT (our SAP integration test stage) running by interacting with FR-line application teams and using and improving our tools for watching over in-memory (HOT) space utilization
- Investigate how we can use AI to generate synthetic test data instead of copy/masking data from production
Topics: Development and test approach
- Support product teams in setting up SAP side regression tests with IH-IQB and IH-IBT tools and Automic (UC4)
- Aid breaking free from the historical driven waterfall based development and test approach towards a test driven and short cycle time based approach
Specific skills:
- Matured SAP BW4HANA developer that likes to try new ideas and is comfortable taking over responsibility with blurring the lines to the business side
- Familiar with developing all the basic objects (ADSOs, Infoobjects, transformations, Infosources, process chains, Web Dynpro, SAP BO reports) and architecture we use in SAP BW in DF, and additionally:
- how ADSOs and Infoobjects work inside
- how the platform breathes and HOT space is allocated and monitored e.g. what is happening below the hood of BW4WEBs Data Volume Statistics
- how tests can be automated on SAP BW
- user authorization models
- Happy to find pragmatic solutions to the daily obstacles and quirks on this platform (e.g. during test data preparation)
- Devoted to pursue our vision to bring the dev and testing approach in our product teams to the next level - against all odds.
