We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW solutions, ensuring that the data warehousing environment supports the analytical needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SAP BW data models and reports.
- Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing BW reports and queries for performance improvements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity within the SAP BW environment.
- Provide support for SAP BW production issues and user queries.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BW technologies and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in SAP BW and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts in SAP BW.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SAP BW reporting tools and technologies, such as BEx, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP and SQL for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP BW.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
