Role Overview:
We are looking for an SAP BW Developer / Support Engineer with hands-on experience in SAP BW development, data modeling, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing BW reporting solutions, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting data integration between SAP and external systems.
Exposure to SAP BW on HANA, SAP Analytics tools, and modern SAP data platforms such as SAP Datasphere will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW Development
Develop and maintain SAP BW data models, transformations, and reporting solutions.
Implement BW-ABAP routines (Start, End, Expert, Field routines) for complex transformations.
Debug and enhance BW programs and data flows to improve performance and reliability.
Design and support BEx Queries and reporting structures used by business users.
Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Application Support
Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BW applications and reporting solutions.
Monitor Process Chains, data loads, and scheduled jobs.
Perform data reconciliation and troubleshooting for reporting discrepancies.
Support daily, monthly, and year-end reporting cycles, including scheduled data uploads.
Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests related to BW reporting.
Support master data corrections and data adjustments when needed.
Data Integration
Manage data extraction from SAP and third-party systems.
Work with CDS Views and HANA Calculation Views for hybrid data modeling scenarios.
Support data integration between SAP BW and modern analytics platforms such as SAP Datasphere or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Collaboration
Work closely with business users and functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions.
Document technical designs, data flows, and support procedures.
Collaborate with Basis and infrastructure teams for system upgrades and performance tuning.
Required Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in SAP BW (BW 7.x / BW on HANA / BW4HANA).
Strong experience in BW data modeling, extraction, and reporting.
Expertise in BW-ABAP development and debugging.
Experience implementing Start, End, Expert, and Field routines.
Hands-on experience with BEx Query Designer.
Experience supporting Process Chains and data loads.
Strong experience in data troubleshooting and reconciliation.
Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a 24/5 support environment.

Ability to handle multiple incidents and priorities simultaneously.
Strong team collaboration and documentation skills.
Work Timing:Normal/German Shifts on Rotational Basis
Educational qualification:
B.E/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification
Experience :
5+ years of experience in SAP BW (BW 7.x / BW on HANA / BW4HANA).
Mandatory/requires Skills :
SAP BW (BW 7.x, BW4HANA, BW on HANA), SAP BW - ABAP, AMDP and SAP analysis for office
Preferred Skills :
SAP SAC - Stories and Models, SAP BO and SAP Datasphere
