We are seeking a SAP Business One Consultant / Support Engineer with strong expertise in SAP B1, SQL, and customer-facing support to manage and optimize business-critical ERP systems. The role focuses on providing application support, resolving business issues, and supporting implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP B1 core modules, strong SQL skills for data analysis, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to improve business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application support for SAP Business One end users
- Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets within SLA timelines
- Analyze customer issues, identify root causes and business risks
- Interrogate business processes and recommend improvements and optimizations
- Support SAP B1 implementations, upgrades, and installations
- Configure and maintain SAP B1 core modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing)
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and troubleshooting
- Develop and support Crystal Reports for business reporting needs
- Perform MS SQL Server administration and database maintenance
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and system accuracy checks
- Maintain proper documentation of issues, solutions, and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient ERP solutions
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Finance, or related field
- SAP Business One Certification (Mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SQL/HANA environments)
- Proven experience in customer-facing support roles
- Strong experience in helpdesk support and ticket resolution (L2/L3)
- Solid understanding of SAP B1 core modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing)
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Server and SQL query writing
- Good understanding of ETL/data extraction and database concepts
- Experience supporting SAP B1 implementations and upgrades
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Crystal Reports development and customization
- Exposure to SAP HANA environments
- Experience with Boyum Usability Pack or other SAP B1 add-ons
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP B1 implementations
- Familiarity with third-party integrations and enhancements
