SAP Business Network Specialist - Junior

Description

We are seeking a Junior SAP Business Network Specialist to support implementation and operational workstreams for supplier collaboration, freight visibility, and shipment tracking. The consultant will independently execute configuration, testing, supplier enablement, and issue-resolution activities under the guidance of the senior specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support configuration and testing of SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration, Global Track & Trace, and Supply Chain PO Collaboration.
• Assist supplier and carrier onboarding, trading-partner mapping, collaboration setup, and transaction-readiness activities.
• Validate purchase orders, order acknowledgments, change orders, ASNs/ship notices, inbound-delivery, and invoice-related flows.
• Support shipment tracking for DDP, CIF, and EXW scenarios including PO line-item visibility, BOL/container details, vessel/voyage, POL/POD, ETD, ETA, and milestone status.
• Assist Track 2 activities for Planning Collaboration, Inventory Collaboration, and Quality Collaboration as assigned.
• Participate in end-to-end testing across SAP Business Network, SAP TM, and connected systems such as MM, Ariba, Finance/FICO, EWM, HCM, and IFS.
• Support interface validation and defect analysis involving CPI, API Gateway, SFTP, WebMethods, RFC, and related integration components.
• Prepare test scripts/evidence and support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression, cutover, and post-go-live validation.
• Track transaction failures, coordinate resolution with functional/integration teams, and maintain issue and action logs.
• Maintain configuration notes, process documentation, user guides, and knowledge-transfer material.
  
  

Qualification

• 4-5 years of SAP experience with hands-on SAP Business Network / SAP Ariba Network exposure.
  
  

Skillset

• Working knowledge of supplier collaboration, procurement document flows, and shipment tracking.
• Understanding of freight bookings, order confirmations, ASNs/ship notices, and ETA/milestone concepts.
• Basic familiarity with SAP/non-SAP integration concepts and test/defect management.
• Good analytical, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
