Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Technical Consultant to drive clean core transformation initiatives and support premium customers in their SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP journeys. The role involves architecting extensibility solutions, defining governance strategies, and leading custom code transformation aligned with clean core principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planning and transformation services to enable clean core adoption.
- Act as an embedded architect collaborating with enterprise architects to drive clean core strategy.
- Define governance standards for custom code development and quality assurance.
- Recommend and implement best practices for SAP S/4HANA and BTP development.
- Perform custom code impact analysis for S/4HANA simplifications.
- Transform legacy custom code via in-app and side-by-side extensions.
- Leverage SAP AI tools (e.g., Joule for Developers) to support custom code transformation.
- Ensure adherence to clean core and extensibility best practices.
Must-Have Skill Set
- Relevant experience should be 47 years of experience in ABAP on S/4HANA
- Strong expertise in OO-ABAP
- Hands-on experience in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- Experience with ABAP Cloud
- Hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps
- Experience in Business Process Automation
- Exposure to SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad
- Strong experience in ABAP CDS Views
- Experience in In-App and Side-by-Side Extensions on SAP BTP
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ATC, SQLM, CCAPPS, Custom Code Migration App
- Strong understanding of Modifications, Enhancements, and ABAP Workflows
- Experience defining governance standards aligned with SAP S/4HANA clean core principles
Nice-to-Have Skill Set
- Experience with CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversions and upgrades
- Exposure to SAP AI capabilities such as Joule for Developers
- Experience in custom code remediation and transformation projects
