SAP BTP RAP(ABAP)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using SAP BTP RAP (ABAP RESTful Programming Model).
• Work on S/4HANA extensions, custom developments, and integrations.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation cycles, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create CDS views, OData services, Behavior Definitions/Implementations using RAP.
• Build scalable and secure applications on SAP BTP (ABAP Environment, CAP optional).
• Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and provide production support for RAP/BTP-based applications.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP BTP (ABAP Environment) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA development (CDS, AMDP, OData, ABAP on HANA).
• Minimum 12 full-cycle SAP implementation experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5, RAP UI consumption models (optional but beneficial).
• Understanding of BTP services, security, and deployment processes.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
