Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP Python Developer with experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python development, cloud application deployment, source code management, and CI/CD practices.

Candidates with hands-on experience deploying Python or Java applications on SAP BTP cloud environments will be highly preferred.

Must-Have Skills

6–8 years of software development experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
Strong Python development skills with experience building scalable applications
Experience deploying and managing Python-based applications on SAP BTP
Knowledge of cloud-native application development and deployment concepts
Experience with Git/GitHub for source code management and version control
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and coding best practices
Ability to write clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code
Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience deploying Java-based applications on SAP BTP
Knowledge of SAP BTP services and cloud platform architecture
Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Exposure to Cloud Foundry environments
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and cloud application support
SAP BTP-related certifications

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications on SAP BTP.
Build scalable and secure cloud-native solutions aligned with business requirements.
Manage application deployments and release processes within SAP BTP environments.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Implement source control, branching strategies, and code management using Git/GitHub.
Support CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation activities.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Stay updated with emerging SAP BTP capabilities and cloud technologies.
