About the Role
- We are looking for a highly driven SAP BTP Full Stack Engineer who can design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade technical solutions across SAP Integration Suite, Master Data Integration, SAP DevOps, and SAP AI Core.
- This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is not limited to development alone, but can think like an architect, move fast like a startup builder, and lead teams toward successful delivery. The candidate should be a go-getter, comfortable learning new SAP technologies, solving complex business problems, and converting ideas into scalable products and platforms.
- You will work on building modern SAP BTP-based products and accelerators around integration automation, master data orchestration, DevOps pipelines, monitoring, AI-assisted operations, and enterprise application development.
Key Responsibilities
SAP BTP Full Stack Development
- Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Build full-stack solutions using SAP CAP, Node.js, Java, SAPUI5/Fiori, OData, REST APIs, and HANA Cloud.
- Develop reusable services, APIs, UI components, workflows, and technical accelerators.
- Work with SAP BTP services such as Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, Event Mesh, HANA Cloud, Workflow, Build Process Automation, and Cloud Foundry/Kyma.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
SAP Integration Suite
- Design and build integrations using SAP Cloud Integration / CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, and Integration Advisor.
- Develop integration flows for SAP and non-SAP systems, including S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur, Salesforce, Azure, AWS, and third-party applications.
- Build reusable integration templates, monitoring frameworks, exception handling patterns, and API-led integration services.
- Work with REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, OData, SFTP, JMS, Events, and XML/JSON transformation.
- Write and maintain Groovy scripts, XSLT mappings, message mappings, and adapter configurations.
Master Data Integration
- Build solutions for Master Data Integration and orchestration across enterprise systems.
- Work with master data domains such as Customer, Vendor, Material, Employee, Finance, and Business Partner.
- Design data validation, enrichment, synchronization, deduplication, and governance workflows.
- Integrate SAP MDI / MDG / S/4HANA controller data processes with downstream systems.
- Build monitoring, reconciliation, and exception management capabilities for master data flows.
SAP DevOps Product Development
- Build SAP-focused DevOps accelerators for CI/CD, transport governance, monitoring, alerting, and deployment automation.
- Work with tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SAP Cloud Transport Management, SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, and Active Control.
- Create automated pipelines for SAP CPI, CAP, UI5, API Management, and BTP applications.
- Develop tools for code quality checks, release governance, automated testing, transport tracking, and deployment approvals.
- Support productization of internal SAP DevOps frameworks and delivery accelerators.
SAP AI Core and AI-Enabled Solutions
- Design and develop AI-enabled SAP solutions using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, and SAP BTP AI services.
- Build AI-assisted tools for integration monitoring, error resolution, root cause analysis, document processing, and business automation.
- Work with prompts, orchestration, embeddings, vector search, RAG patterns, and AI service integration.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to embed AI into enterprise SAP workflows securely and responsibly.
- Explore and prototype AI-native features for SAP integration and DevOps products.
Technical Leadership
- Lead small engineering teams and guide junior developers on design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Own technical delivery from requirement analysis to production deployment.
- Review code, enforce engineering standards, and ensure delivery quality.
- Work directly with architects, product owners, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
- Take accountability for timelines, solution quality, and customer success.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Full-stack development experience using Node.js, Java, CAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, OData, REST APIs, and HANA Cloud.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration patterns.
- Experience with Groovy, JavaScript, XML, JSON, XSLT, and API design.
- Knowledge of master data integration, data governance, and enterprise data synchronization.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, transport management, and deployment automation.
- Understanding of security concepts, including OAuth, SAML, JWT, certificates, destinations, roles, and XSUAA.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration, application, and platform issues.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, or AI Foundation services.
- Experience building SAP products, accelerators, frameworks, or reusable enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG, SAP MDI, SAP Datasphere, Event Mesh, API Management, and Cloud ALM.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Datadog, Splunk, ServiceNow, or enterprise monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and LLM-based automation.
- Experience working in a startup, product engineering, or consulting environment.
- Prior experience leading developers or managing technical delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in SAP technical development, integration, or enterprise application development.
- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas:
- SAP BTP application development
- SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Master Data Integration
- SAP DevOps / CI/CD
- SAP AI Core / AI-enabled automation
