Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in building cloud-native applications, digital experiences, and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will design and deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions using SAP Fiori/UI5, CAP, SAP Build, Work Zone, and BPA, following clean-core and event-driven extension principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Build cloud-native backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP – Node.js/Java).
- Design and deliver side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA using BTP services and clean-core principles.
- Develop modern SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and UI5 Web Components.
- Build engaging digital workplace experiences using SAP Build Work Zone (Advanced Edition).
- Develop applications and workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) and SAP Build Apps (Low-Code/No-Code).
- Create and manage data models using HANA Cloud, CDS entities (CAP), and SQLScript.
- Integrate applications with key BTP services such as:
- XSUAA for authentication and authorization
- Destination Service
- Document Management Service
- SAP Build Process Automation (Workflows, Decisions, Automations)
- Implement Generative AI–based extensions using:
- SAP Generative AI Hub
- Joule Digital Assistant
- SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad
- Apply best practices for multi-tenant architecture, cloud security, and scalable API design.
- Collaborate closely with UX, functional, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality BTP solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance across UI, backend services, and BTP components.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- 7–8+ years of SAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP Fiori / UI5, Fiori Elements
- SAP CAP (Node.js/Java)
- SAP Build Work Zone (Advanced)
- SAP Build Apps (LCNC)
- SAP Build Process Automation
- OData V2/V4, REST APIs
- HANA Cloud, CDS (CAP), SQLScript
- Hands-on experience integrating and consuming BTP platform services.
Preferred / Modern Skills
- Experience with SAP GenAI services (Generative AI Hub, AI Core, AI Launchpad).
- Experience building low-code/no-code extensions using SAP Build Apps.
- Knowledge of:
- git-based development (gCTS/GitHub/GitLab)
- DevOps pipelines and CI/CD on BTP
- Cloud security standards (OAuth2, JWT, XSUAA)
- Multitenant BTP application design (optional)
