Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BTP CAPM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model), Java, Fiori application development, and CDS Views. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of applications using SAP CAPM (Node.js/Java).
Design and implement Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and OData services.
Develop and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) Views in SAP S/4HANA and BTP.
Integrate front-end (Fiori) with back-end services (CAPM-based services).
Work on SAP BTP services like XSUAA, Destination, Connectivity, and Launchpad service.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support deployment activities.
Guide and mentor junior developers in CAPM best practices and architectural decisions.
Technical Skills Required
Strong hands-on experience in SAP CAPM (Java preferred, Node.js good to have).
Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js for microservices development.
Experience with Fiori / SAPUI5 application development and SAP Launchpad configuration.
Solid understanding of CDS Views, annotations, and custom entities.
Working knowledge of OData V4, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
Familiarity with SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, XSUAA, and Destinations).
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP BTP certification(s) preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
