We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to provide end-to-end technical architecture and governance across SAP cloud implementation programmes.
The role requires strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite/Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS and IPS), APIs, extensions and enterprise integrations.
The successful candidate will act as the technical authority across multiple SAP projects, providing architectural direction to functional consultants, integration and BTP developers, security teams and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and govern end-to-end technical architecture across SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, IAS, IPS and third-party applications.
- Review solution designs and ensure alignment with SAP architecture, integration, development and security standards.
- Provide technical oversight for SuccessFactors APIs, OData services, Compound Employee API, Integration Center, Intelligent Services, MDF and file-based integrations.
- Guide teams on the appropriate use of standard SuccessFactors functionality, BTP extensions and custom integrations.
- Design and govern BTP solutions using Integration Suite, CPI, API Management, SAP Build, Cloud Connector and other relevant services.
- Define integration patterns covering APIs, events, synchronous, asynchronous and batch/file-based interfaces.
- Establish standards for interface design, error handling, logging, monitoring and security.
- Design authentication, SSO and user-provisioning solutions using IAS, IPS, SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect.
- Review architecture documents, technical designs, interface specifications, APIs, security designs and data-flow diagrams.
- Lead the resolution of complex integration, authentication, connectivity and performance issues.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, production stabilisation and critical incident management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SAP functional and technical teams.
- Support presales activities, solution estimation, technical presentations and customer discussions.
Required Experience
- 8–12+ years of SAP technical or integration experience, including SAP cloud implementations.
- Strong experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
- Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors technical architecture and integrations.
- Experience implementing or administering SAP IAS and IPS.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Good knowledge of REST, OData, SOAP, SFTP, XML, JSON, OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, APIs, certificates and encryption.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, integration, identity and network layers.
- Strong technical documentation, architecture-diagramming and stakeholder-management skills.

Relevant SAP BTP, Integration Suite or SuccessFactors certifications would be advantageous.
