Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP – CPI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Integration Suite (CPI). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance integrations across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems while driving best practices and integration governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-wide integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite / CPI on SAP BTP
- Define integration strategies, architecture standards, and reusable frameworks for SAP and third-party integrations
- Lead the development and deployment of complex integration flows, APIs, and event-driven solutions
- Design and review Message Mappings, XSLT Mappings, Groovy Scripts, and integration patterns
- Architect synchronous and asynchronous communication models for business-critical integrations
- Implement and govern API-led connectivity using SAP API Management
- Design event-driven integration solutions leveraging SAP Event Mesh
- Ensure integration security, scalability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and functional teams to understand integration requirements and propose scalable solutions
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and architectural guidance to development teams
- Support solutioning, estimations, and technical discussions during client engagements and project delivery
Required Skills
- 8+ years of overall experience with strong expertise in SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Proven experience in architecting enterprise integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP applications
- Strong expertise in Message Mapping, XSLT, Groovy Scripting, REST/SOAP APIs, and OData services
- Hands-on experience with SAP API Management and API governance
- Strong understanding of SAP Event Mesh and Event-Driven Architecture
- Expertise in designing synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
- Good understanding of SAP BTP services, cloud integration security, and authentication mechanisms
- Experience in integration monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex scenarios
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive architecture decisions with clients and internal teams
