SAP BTP Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant to support both implementation and ongoing support projects. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BTP-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications. The role requires expertise in SAP BTP services, CAP (Cloud Application Programming), Fiori/UI5 development, integration with on-premise systems, and process automation to drive digital transformation in mining operations.

About the Role

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BTP-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and third-party applications.

Responsibilities

• BTP:
• Design and develop custom applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Implement SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for enhanced user experience.
• Utilize SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence for real-time data processing and analytics.
• Develop SAP Workflow Management and SAP Intelligent RPA solutions for process automation.
• Deploy SAP AI/ML services for predictive maintenance, safety monitoring, and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with SAP BTP security best practices, including identity authentication and role-based access control.
• SAP S/4HANA Integration:
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, PP, PM, EHS, FI, CO, PS).
• Develop API-based integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and OData services.
• Establish connectivity with IoT-enabled mining equipment for real-time monitoring.
• Work on event-driven architecture for seamless data exchange between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Implement BTP-based mobile solutions for remote mining operations and workforce management.
• Process Optimization:
• Optimize data processing and analytics using SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence.
• Implement low-code/no-code development for rapid application deployment.
• Enhance workflow automation through SAP Business Process Automation and AI-driven insights.
• Improve reporting and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Ensure high availability and performance tuning of SAP BTP applications.
• Training and Support:
• Conduct training workshops for IT teams and business users on SAP BTP functionalities.
• Develop documentation, best practices, and guidelines for BTP development and deployment.
• Guide stakeholders on SAP BTP licensing, cost optimization, and service utilization.
• Provide insights on SAP BTP roadmap and emerging technologies.
• Support and Issue Resolution:
• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP BTP applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot API connectivity, cloud integration, and performance bottlenecks.
• Assist in cloud migrations, security audits, and compliance checks.
• Support upgrades and patches to keep SAP BTP services up to date.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity for SAP cloud applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Degree in Related fields.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SAP with at least 3 years in SAP BTP development and integration.
• Minimum 1 Implementation and 1 Support (AMS) experience is required.
• Expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), CAP, Fiori/UI5, and HANA Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SAP CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Experience with SAP Intelligent RPA, Workflow Automation, and AI/ML services.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and cloud architecture skills.
