SAP BTP CAPM Developer/Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP CAPM Developer/Lead to design, develop, and implement solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM). This role involves leading development efforts, ensuring high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust applications.

Job Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP BTP using CAPM, Node.js, Java, and relevant SAP services.

* Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance for SAP BTP CAPM-based solutions.

* Develop and consume OData services, REST APIs, and integrate with various SAP and non-SAP systems.

* Implement security best practices within SAP BTP applications, including authentication and authorization.

* Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and mentor junior developers.

* Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues, providing timely resolutions.

* Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP services, CAPM features, and industry best practices.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

* Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Job Qualifications

* Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SAP development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP BTP and CAPM.

* Strong hands-on experience with Node.js or Java for CAPM development.

* Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services, REST APIs, and integrating with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other systems.

* Experience with SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Business Application Studio, Destination Service, Connectivity Service, etc.

* Solid understanding of cloud application architecture, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

* Familiarity with front-end technologies like SAP UI5/Fiori, React, or Angular is a plus.

* Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SAP CI/CD service).

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* SAP BTP certification is a significant advantage.
