Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP + CAPM Consultant with hands-on experience in developing cloud-native applications and services using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable SAP solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver high-quality business applications.
Must-Have Skills
- 3-6 years of SAP technical consulting and development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
- Expertise in designing and developing business services using CAP
- In-depth knowledge of API design principles in CAP
- OData Services
- RESTful APIs
- Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on SAP BTP
- Experience with the following BTP services:
- SAP HANA Cloud
- Cloud Integration
- Cloud Identity Services
- XSUAA
- Cloud Foundry
- Strong understanding of service-oriented and domain-driven application design
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with application prototyping, solution analysis, and technical feasibility assessments
Nice-to-Have Skills
- SAP certifications related to BTP, CAPM, or Cloud technologies

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment practices
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
- Build and expose business services through OData and RESTful APIs.
- Develop, deploy, and manage applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Integration, Cloud Identity Services, XSUAA, and Cloud Foundry.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Perform technical analysis, prototyping, and proof-of-concept development where required.
- Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and deployment environments.
- Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best development practices.
