SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) S/4 HANA Basis Consultant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP S/4 HANA Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in configuring and maintaining SAP Basis components in the context of SAP S/4 HANA on the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain SAP Basis components including system landscapes, client management, transport management, and system monitoring in SAP S/4 HANA environments.
• Perform system installations, upgrades, and migrations for SAP S/4 HANA and related applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Configure and manage SAP BTP services such as SAP Cloud Connector, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP Basis and SAP S/4 HANA performance, security, and reliability.
• Perform system refreshes, system copies, and system backups in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the SAP Basis team and end-users as needed.
• Stay current with SAP Basis and SAP S/4 HANA technology trends and updates, and make recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with specific experience in SAP S/4 HANA environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services and components.
• Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of SAP Basis concepts such as system monitoring, user management, and authorization administration.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA migrations, upgrades, and system conversions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
