Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP BTP Architect & Administrator with 10+ years of SAP experience to design, govern, and manage our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) global environment. This role is responsible for the foundational setup, security, and integration of our cloud landscape. You will be the technical lead for BTP services, ensuring that our extension and integration strategies align with S/4HANA RISE environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement the global BTP Account Model (Global Account, Subaccounts, Directories) based on business units and regional requirements.
- Lead the allocation of service plans and quotas; manage technical debt and cost-optimization for BTP consumption.
- Define architecture standards for Side-by-Side extensions using BTP to keep the S/4HANA core standard.
- Configure and manage Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS). Set up Federation with corporate Identity Providers (Azure AD).
- Own the installation, high-availability configuration, and lifecycle management of SAP Cloud Connectors.
- Design and govern the Role Collection and Scoping strategy for BTP-based applications.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for BTP developments using SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery or external tools (GitHub/Jenkins).
- Act as the Tier-3 expert for complex connectivity, performance, and authentication issues between BTP and On-Premise/RISE systems
Technical Competencies
- Deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform architecture .A strong background in traditional SAP Basis, transitioned into dedicated BTP/Cloud experience.
- Proven track record of connecting BTP to S/4HANA (RISE), ECC, and non-SAP third-party systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform architecture and services
- Proficiency in managing Global Accounts, Subaccounts, Spaces, Entitlements, and Quotas
- Experience with BTP environments including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and ABAP Environment
- Ability to create high-level design documents (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) for cloud implementations.
- Solid understanding of hyper-scaler platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector for secure on-premise connectivity
- Experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service and SAP Identity Provisioning Service
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control systems/ STMS .

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
Experience
- 10+ years of SAP experience to design, govern, and manage our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) global environment. Strong expertise in SAP system administration (installation, upgrades, patching, migrations)
- Experience in the Medical industry, either in a Consulting Company or directly in a Life Science Healthcare Company preferred.
