We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Specialist to support a cutting-edge programme focused on connecting SAP core systems (ECC & S/4HANA) with advanced third-party AI platforms. This role sits within a global digital transformation initiative, leveraging SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIM and Event Mesh to build robust, scalable API-driven integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs between SAP ECC/S4 and third-party AI systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Build and manage integration flows using CPI, APIM, and Event Mesh
- Connect SAP to Agentic AI platforms with best-practice integration patterns
- Collaborate in a global, fast-moving project environment
- Apply SAP Integration Advisor, API Business Hub and BTP Extensions where required
- Provide debugging and issue-resolution support, particularly using ABAP debugging
Required Experience
- 6+ years in SAP Integration (BTP, CPI, and PO/PI)
- Strong understanding of integration technologies: XML, XSD, JSON, SOAP, REST, OData
- 1+ global project or 2+ years hands-on (not support) with SAP BTP Integration Suite
- Proven experience with APIM and integrating Agentic AI systems into SAP
- Hands-on Event Mesh experience connecting SAP to external systems
- Global project experience this is not a support role
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and modern API authentication
- SAP ABAP debugging capability
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
