About the Role

SAP BTP AI and Joule Consultant

Experience: 8+ Years (4+ Years SAP BTP)

Role Summary We are looking for a hands-on SAP BTP AI Consultant to design and implement enterprise AI use cases across SAP applications. The consultant will enable and extend SAP Joule, develop custom Joule skills and agents, and build Generative AI solutions using SAP BTP and large language models.

Responsibilities

• Configure, integrate and troubleshoot SAP Joule across DEV, QAS and PRD environments.
• Develop custom Joule skills and agents using Joule Studio and SAP Build.
• Implement Generative AI use cases using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad and Generative AI Hub.
• Integrate approved LLMs with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, CAPM applications.
• Build solutions using prompt engineering, grounding, RAG, tool calling and structured responses.
• Develop integrations using CAP, Node.js or Java, Python, REST and OData services.
• Configure BTP security, destinations, IAS, XSUAA, OAuth and role collections.
• Apply responsible AI, data privacy, monitoring, auditability and consumption controls.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ Years (4+ Years SAP BTP)

Required Skills

• 8 plus years of overall SAP technical experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on SAP BTP experience.
• Practical experience with SAP Joule, Joule Studio, Joule skills or agents, and SAP Build.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad and Generative AI Hub.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search and RAG.
• Experience with SAP CAP, Node.js or Java, Python, HANA Cloud, APIs and Cloud Foundry.
