Key Responsibilities

The SAP BRIM CM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) within the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) landscape to enable high-volume usage data collection, mediation, and rating readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM)
• Design and configure mediation scenarios for high-volume usage data
• Configure:
• Data sources and data collection
• Mediation pipelines and processes
• Validation, enrichment, and aggregation rules
• Manage usage event processing and error handling
• Integrate CM with:
• SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
• SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
• SAP FI-CA
• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and throughput
• Handle reprocessing, reconciliation, and audit requirements
• Prepare functional and technical design documents
• Coordinate with ABAP and middleware teams
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
• Provide production support and resolve CM-related issues

Integration & Technical Exposure

• SAP BRIM components: CM, CC, CI, FI-CA
• Experience with S/4HANA BRIM
• Knowledge of event-based billing and usage-based charging
• Exposure to middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, CPI)
• Strong understanding of high-volume data processing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation
• Experience in telecom, utilities, media, or subscription-based industries
• Deep understanding of usage data mediation concepts
• Experience with end-to-end BRIM implementations
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud-based mediation
• Knowledge of Kafka / streaming concepts
• SAP BRIM or CM certification
• Exposure to S/4HANA upgrades or migrations

Experience Level

• 6+ years of SAP experience
• 3+ years in SAP BRIM CM
