About the Role
HCLTech is looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BODS, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, AutoSys, SQL Server, and CMC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP data migration projects, working with both SAP and non-SAP legacy systems to support successful S/4HANA transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Perform data migration from SAP and non-SAP legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA on-premise environments.
- Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
- Prepare data mapping documents, migration technical specifications, and reconciliation reports.
- Build and maintain ETL processes, workflows, and data transformation logic.
- Collaborate closely with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure data quality and migration success.
- Understand end-to-end business processes and data dependencies across master and transactional data objects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects.
- Strong experience with:
- SAP Data Services (BODS)
- SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- SQL Server
- AutoSys
- CMC (Central Management Console)
- Experience in at least 4 SAP Data Migration projects involving SAP Data Services (BODS) and Migration Cockpit.
- Hands-on experience in minimum 2 full-cycle SAP migration implementations.
- Strong knowledge of ETL design, development, and deployment.
- Expertise in migration tools including:
- LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit)
- LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler)
- Hands-on experience with BODS Designer components:
- Projects
- Jobs
- Workflows
- Data Flows
- Scripts
- Data Stores
- File Formats
- Experience working across SAP business process areas such as:
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Make to Stock (M2S)
- Source to Pay (S2P)
- Business to Partner (B2P)
- Strong understanding of master data and transactional data migration.
- Excellent functional analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP Information Steward.
- Experience with data quality, governance, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Exposure to large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
