We're looking for an individual to support the HR technical AMS team aligned to SAP HR integration and ABAP support, with a strong focus on Business Integration Builder (BIB) for HR master data and organizational data replication.
● Monitor, maintain, and support BADIs related to BIB, resolving incidents and enhancing custom business logic during data integration and replication.
● Provide production support for IDocs related to HR Mini Master, including troubleshooting and resolving PA and OM segment processing errors within SLA timelines.
● Support and maintain custom BADIs managing IDoc transfer between S/4HANA and ECC systems, ensuring data consistency across landscapes.
● Debug, fix, and optimize ABAP programs, enhancements, and reports supporting HR technical processes as part of ongoing AMS support.
● Apply ABAP on Cloud concepts (e.g., RAP, Steampunk) to support and maintain integration and extension objects where applicable.
● Provide HR-related functional and technical guidance to the broader support team, acting as a point of contact for incident and ticket resolution.
● Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to BIB configuration, BADIs, and IDoc processing across SAP landscapes within agreed SLAs.
● Collaborate with functional HR consultants, Basis, and cross-application teams to support root-cause analysis, testing, and issue resolution.
● Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting BIB scenarios for HR data in a production/AMS environment.
● Experience on at least one AMS/support project involving IDoc-based data transfer between S/4HANA and ECC systems, with a good understanding of SLA timelines for incidents and requirements.
● Good understanding of HR Mini Master data structures (PA/OM) and related IDoc processing.
● Strong communication skills to operate in a virtual environment and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
● Experience working in large, remote teams.
Technical and Professional Requirements
● Relevant experience: 6+ years of AMS/production support experience on the SAP HR technical landscape.
● Mandatory skills: Business Integration Builder (BIB) support; BADIs related to BIB; IDocs related to HR Mini Master; custom BADIs for IDoc transfer between S/4HANA and ECC; ABAP support/development; and ABAP on Cloud.
● Experienced in supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining BIB scenarios, including BADI fixes for HR data integration issues.
● Experience maintaining IDoc configuration, partner profiles, and reporting setup for HR Mini Master data exchange as part of AMS support.
● Extensive working knowledge of IDoc-based integration support between SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems for HR data.
● Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or PI/PO for HR data integration is an added advantage.
● Working experience with ITIL-based AMS support methodology (incident, problem, and change management).

● Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
● Experience with SAP ABAP development, BADIs, and IDoc-based integration technologies.
● Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative approach, with the ability to collaborate on best practices.
● Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
● Comfortable working in a dynamic, complex, client- and team-focused environment with minimal oversight and an agile mindset.
● Detail-oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Experience working in large or remote teams, with good client-interfacing skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams).
● Knowledge of the professional services industry preferred.
