Job Summary
Looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Technical Architect (15+ years) to handle the global SAP landscape and This role combines technical architecture with strong vendor management capabilities. The candidate should have proven experience with SAP on-premise landscape , S/4HANA (including RISE), SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) across hybrid and cloud environments.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and govern the overall SAP technical architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP landscapes (on-premise, cloud, and hybrid)
- Manage the end-to-end global SAP BASIS landscape (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager/Cloud ALM, etc.)
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, capacity planning and lifecycle management
- Manage and govern managed service providers (MSPs) and hosting partners. Define SLAs, KPIs, and ensure service delivery compliance
- Ensure best practices for RISE with SAP environments including hyperscale integrations and support of RISE implementation project
- Lead adoption and governance of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services
- Oversee implementation and usage of SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for monitoring and operations ( Release Management)
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- 15+ years of SAP BASIS experience, with at least 3–5 years in an architect or lead role
- Strong expertise in SAP system administration (installation, upgrades, patching, migrations)
- Proven experience managing large-scale global SAP landscapes
- Hands-on exposure to: on-premise landscape ( ECC/ BW/PO/Fiori/CRM)
- Strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and performance tunning
- Deep understanding of the RISE with SAP engagement model, specifically the Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) matrix between the customer and SAP.
- Hands-on expertise in configuring SAP BTP subaccounts, managing Cloud Connectors in high-availability mode, and administering BTP platform
- Proficiency in Cloud AM( CALM) operation like Change Management & monitoring
- Expertise in HANA DB administration , including scale-out/scale-up architectures, and legacy databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
- Strong grasp of Linux (SUSE/RHEL) administration and running SAP workloads on cloud environment & on-premise environments
- Proficiency in Identity Authentication Services (IAS), SAML 2.0, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration between On-Premise (Active Directory) and Cloud (BTP/RISE).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience with 3-5 years in architect or a lead role
- Strong expertise in SAP system administration (installation, upgrades, patching, migrations)
- Proven experience managing large-scale global SAP landscapes
- Proficiency in Cloud AM( CALM) operation like Change Management & monitoring
- Expertise in HANA DB administration , including scale-out/scale-up architectures, and legacy databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).
- Experience in the Medical industry, either in a Consulting Company or directly in a Life Science Healthcare Company preferred.
