Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP system administration and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of our SAP landscape.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor SAP systems, including installations, upgrades, and patches.
- Ensure system availability and performance through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Support the implementation of SAP solutions and provide technical expertise during projects.
- Perform system backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP performance and resolve issues.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture and components.
- Experience with SAP HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.
- Proficiency in database management (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
