SAP BASIS & HANA Administrator

Your Role

• Administer and manage SAP BASIS environments including installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Provide full-cycle BASIS support including incident, request, and problem management, change execution, and environment stability.
• Perform technical operations such as kernel upgrades, SPS updates, patch implementations, transport management, system refreshes, and log administration.
• Monitor SAP systems (production and non-production) for performance, availability, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for issue resolution and project execution.
• Support documentation and knowledge management by creating and updating technical articles and SOPs.
• Assist in performance and capacity planning by analyzing system metrics and forecasting hardware/software requirements.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of SAP landscapes.
• Work within ITIL framework to manage service delivery and continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• 69 years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP HANA, UNIX, and SAP system operations.
• Professional certifications such as SAP Certified Consultant or ITIL are preferred.
• Proven experience in upgrades, migrations, refreshes, and troubleshooting in mission-critical environments.
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with international clients and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in UNIX and database tools.
• Familiarity with high availability solutions and technical architecture planning.
• Ability to lead and train teams, and manage project planning and scoping.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
