Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP system administration and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of our SAP environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and migrations as necessary.
- Ensure timely application of SAP patches and enhancements.
- Manage user access and security settings within SAP environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including performance and connectivity problems.
- Maintain system documentation and update technical manuals as needed.
- Collaborate with functional teams to support SAP application configurations and implementations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and components.
- Experience with SAP installation, upgrades, and migrations.
- Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, HANA, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with OS platforms such as Linux and Windows.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining SAP systems for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Understanding of SAP security concepts and user management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
