Essential Skills:

Overall, 5 - 7 years of experience as Technology Consultant (SAP Basis) with strong working experience on Upgrades & Migrations and Production Support of SAP ABAP & JAVA systems in Hybrid Environment.

Minimum 3 - 4 years of SAP Upgrade and Migration Experience required as below

  • Hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting SAP systems in Hybrid Environments (IaaS & PaaS).

  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

  • Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, migration, or upgrade of SAP ERP / S/4HANA systems.

  • Basic to good experience in SAP BTP Administration, integration, and cloud services.

  • Exposure to SAP RISE transformation projects and S/4HANA system conversion activities.

  • Working knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM setup, monitoring, and operations for cloud landscapes.

  • Experience in OS/DB migration activities using SUM or DMO methods.

  • Experience in EHP upgrades, S/4HANA upgrades, or Support Package implementations.

  • Exposure to S/4HANA or BW/4HANA conversion projects.

  • Basic experience in SAP CPI integration and SAP BTP services

Minimum 2 - 3 years of SAP Basis Production Support Experience as below:

  • Ability to support 24/7 SAP production environments.

  • Experience in administration of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW systems, and SAP PI/PO landscapes.

  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and Oracle database administration, including basic performance tuning.

  • Understanding of SAP system security, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in System Copy, System Refresh, and DB Refresh activities.

  • Knowledge of SAP backup and restore processes on Linux environments.

  • Exposure to High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) concepts for SAP systems.

  • Basic administration experience on Linux or AIX operating system

Soft skills:

  • Communication and Presentation skills to play customer facing roles

  • Strong communication skills to lead and drive topics independently

  • Flexible to adapt with the Project schedules and demands

  • Good to have ability to demonstrate as cross functional and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Certifications as added Advantage:

  • SAP S/4HANA System Administration

  • S/4HANA Conversion & Upgrade Specialist

  • SAP BTP Administration / Integration Suite

  • SAP on Azure / AWS Certification


Qualifications

Educational qualification:

  • BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
