We are looking for a dedicated SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers or entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of SAP administration. As an SAP Basis Consultant, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring their optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SAP systems, including the database and application servers.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform system upgrades and patches as required, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage user access and roles within the SAP environment.
• Maintain system security and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Assist in backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Provide support during SAP migrations and system refreshes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and components.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, HANA, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows.
• Familiarity with SAP Basis administration tasks, including client management and transport management.
• Proficient in performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols related to SAP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
