Job Description

Perform SAP Basis administration across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other SAP components.
Install, configure, upgrade, and migrate SAP systems (including HANA and non-HANA).
Perform HANA database administration: backup & recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, and security.
Manage system refreshes, client copies, transports, kernel upgrades, and patching.
Monitor system health and performance using SAP tools (ST22, ST06, SM21, SM50/51, HANA Studio, etc.).
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setup for SAP HANA systems (HADR).
Troubleshoot performance issues across Basis, OS, DB, and Network layers.
Work with cross-functional teams for change management, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
Support SAP security configurations and user administration.
Participate in on-call rotation for production support.

Required Skills

Strong experience in SAP Basis administration.
Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database administration.
Experience with SAP migrations, SAP upgrades, and SAP system copies.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Good understanding of SAP transport management systems (TMS).
Experience with SAP Solution Manager functionalities (ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA).
Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.
Good communication and documentation skills.
