Sap Basis Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of hands on experience in SAP system administration, migrations, S/4HANA conversions, upgrades, and HANA database management. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in managing complex SAP landscapes, ensuring system performance, security, availability, and stability, along with the ability to provide production support and resolve critical technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP system migrations, S/4HANA conversions, application upgrades, and system refreshes.

• Administer SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SLT, Content Server, Cloud Connector, GRC, Vertex, and Web Dispatcher.

• Manage SAP HANA database administration, including installations, upgrades, System Replication, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

• Administer SAP BTP and HANA Cloud environments.

• Perform SAP installations, Kernel upgrades, Support Pack implementations, Add on installations, and transport management.

• Troubleshoot SAP BASIS issues related to system performance, memory utilization, dumps, connectivity, and system availability.

• Manage hybrid SAP landscapes and support integrations with third party applications and systems.

• Implement and maintain SAP security configurations, certificates, SNC/SSL, and vulnerability remediation.

• Develop automation scripts, maintain SOPs and technical documentation, and drive continuous process improvements.

• Provide 24x7 production support and participate in BASIS on call rotations.

• Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and maintain service quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands on SAP BASIS experience.

• Strong experience in SAP migrations, S/4HANA conversions, system upgrades, and refreshes.

• Expertise in SAP HANA administration, including System Replication, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.

• Practical experience administering SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and the associated SAP components mentioned above.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA Cloud, hybrid SAP environments, and third party integrations.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.

• Good understanding of SAP security, SSL certificates, SNC, and vulnerability management.

• Experience with scripting, automation, technical documentation, and operational process improvements.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Willingness to provide 24x7 production support and participate in on call rotations.
