We are migrating all SAP on-premise systems from the current US and BE datacenters to new datacenters. This initiative involves a complete rebuild of all SAP HANA database servers and VMotion relocation of SAP application servers within an aggressive 8-month timeline.

Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Professional with strong expertise in SAP ABAP/JAVA troubleshooting and SAP HANA administration. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and database troubleshooting across enterprise-scale SAP landscapes.
This role requires flexibility to support critical migration activities in a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP and JAVA applications.
- Perform SAP installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration activities.
- Handle SAP HANA database installation, upgrades, migration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage SAP environments across Linux and Windows platforms.
- Support and maintain on-premise SAP systems ensuring high availability and performance.
- Participate in datacenter migration and infrastructure transition activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and application teams during migration activities.
- Monitor SAP systems and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
Mandatory Skills (Core Skillset – 50%)
- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and JAVA troubleshooting
- Extensive experience in SAP installation and upgrade activities
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration and troubleshooting
- Excellent proficiency in Linux OS for SAP Basis administration
- Extensive experience managing on-premises SAP environments
Good-to-Have Skills (10–25%)
- Knowledge of Sybase and MaxDB
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager basic configuration
- Experience with application and database clustering
- Hands-on experience with SLT, SDA, SDI, and SAP BTP
- Experience with SAP IBP
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Cockpit
- Exposure to SAP modules such as SAP MES, TM, EWM, MDG, and Fiori
- Experience configuring SSO using Kerberos and SAML
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience working in large enterprise SAP landscapes
- Ability to work independently in critical production environments
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Prior experience in datacenter migration projects is highly preferred
