Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support for SAP systems run on AWS
  • Responding to customer tickets in a timely manner, owning basis issues to resolution
  • Proactively identifying the root cause of issues and recommending and implementing solutions
  • On projects supporting the build and migration of SAP systems on AWS
  • Liaising with infrastructure, security and other team members to support a customer s requirements
  • Providing out of hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota
  • Deploying tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components
  • Experience with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration.
  • Hands on experience in supporting customer SAP systems and/or implementing and/or migrating SAP systems preferably to AWS
  • Experience in SAP Installation, SAP Sizing, SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernal Administration
  • Experience in working in multiple customer environments each directly for the customer or as a 3rd party provider
  • Excellent English language written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
