Role Description The SAP Basis Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur. This role is responsible for the daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and system health checks. The consultant ensures system availability, applies patches and upgrades, manages transports, and supports database-related activities. Day-to-day work includes troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating with functional and technical teams, supporting users, and contributing to system security and backup strategies. The SAP Basis Consultant also provides guidance on best practices, participates in projects and system enhancements, and prepares documentation for operational and support procedures.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in SAP Basis and Basis Administration, including system installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Troubleshooting and Consulting to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and advise stakeholders on system optimization and best practices.
- Candidates should possess experience in Database Administration for SAP-related databases, including backup, recovery, and performance optimization.
- Relevant skills such as knowledge of SAP system landscapes, transport management, user and authorization management, and adherence to security and compliance standards are beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with prior experience as a SAP Basis Consultant in a manufacturing or industrial environment, is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Udaipur are required.
