Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Problem Support & Resolution:
Provide operational support during US business hours (8AM to 5PM ET)
Collaborate with functional teams and developers for system changes and enhancements.
Provide technical support for SAP-related incidents and service requests.
Be involved in on-call roster and participate in P1/P2 incident calls
System Performance & Monitoring:
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Manage SAP transports and maintain system integrity.
System Administration:
Install, upgrade and maintain SAP systems (ECC, BW, BOBJ, APO, GATP, EWM, PI/PO, Solution Manager)
Review, enhance and configure current SAP Solution Manager system to perform its core functionalities.
Database & OS Management:
Working knowledge (Maintain and upgrade) on various databases (Oracle, SQL Server or MaxDB) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).
Documentation:
Update system documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides when required.
Performs other duties as assigned by SAP Basis Manager.
