We are hiring a Strategic SAP Basis Architect / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in SAP Basis and SAP HANA, along with exposure to pre-sales and solutioning activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in architecture design, cloud transformations (HEC & RISE with SAP), and technical leadership, while also supporting client discussions, proposals, and solution estimations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as SAP Basis Architect / SME for large and complex SAP landscapes
- Design and govern SAP architectures across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, SolMan, and related systems
- Lead SAP transformations involving SAP HANA, SAP HEC, and RISE with SAP
- Provide technical solutioning support during pre-sales, including:
- Architecture design
- Effort estimation
- RFP/RFI responses
- Client technical discussions and workshops
- Drive SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, conversions, and cloud moves
- Define and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
- Oversee HANA administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backups, and system refreshes
- Collaborate with SAP, hyperscalers (AWS / Azure / GCP), and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to SAP security, compliance, and audit standards
- Provide strategic guidance, best practices, and architectural documentation
- Mentor and guide Basis teams; act as escalation point for critical issues
- Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization activities
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of strong SAP Basis experience
- Proven expertise as SAP Basis Architect or SAP Basis SME
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP HANA
- Strong exposure to SAP HEC and RISE with SAP environments
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and landscape management
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP SAP hosted)
- Experience with Solution Manager, monitoring, and system automation
- Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis skills
- Exposure to pre-sales / solutioning activities is mandatory or highly preferred
Good to Have:
- SAP certifications in Basis / HANA / S/4HANA / RISE
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology
- Knowledge of SAP BTP and integration architecture
- Exposure to DevOps / automation tools for SAP Basis
