SAP Basis Administrator (S/4HANA)

Job Description:

The client is seeking an experiencedSAP Basis Administratorto manage and support ourSAP S/4HANA landscape. This role is critical in ensuring system stability, performance optimization, and seamless technical operations across the SAP environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inSAP HANA database administration, system upgrades, and performance tuning, along with hands-on experience in managing enterprise SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provideend-to-end technical supportfor SAP landscapes (S/4HANA)
• Install, configure, and maintainSAP systems and environments
• Monitor and optimizesystem performance, availability, and reliability
• ManageSAP HANA databaseactivities including backups, restores, patching, and tuning
• Performsystem upgrades, kernel updates, and patches
• Maintain and manageSSL certificates and system security components
• Handletransport management and change control processes (ChaRM)
• Collaborate withimplementation partners and internal stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolvesystem issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks
• Prepare and maintaintechnical documentation, SOPs, and system procedures

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science / IT or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experiencein SAP Basis Administration
• Strong experience withSAP S/4HANA architecture and administration
• Hands-on expertise inSAP HANA database management
• Experience withSAP Solution Manager and ChaRM (Change Request Management)
• Exposure toFiori administration and system integration
• Experience working withSAP implementation partners
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently in afast-paced environment

Preferred Skills(Good to Have)

• SAP Certification:SAP S/4HANA System Administration
• Experience insystem migrations / upgrades (ECC to S/4HANA)
• Knowledge ofhigh availability / disaster recovery setups
• Exposure tocloud environments (AWS / Azure / SAP RISE)
