Qualifications
As SAP Basis Consultant you have the following competences:
- Higher Professional Education (HBO) level of thinking
- Technical training at HBO or university level (pre)
- At least10 yearsworking experience on theSAP platform
- Technical knowledge on theSAP ModulesforBW, ECC, CRM, SRM, PI/PO, Gateway, Solution Manager and Portal
- Technical knowledge on Integrations withPI/PO
- Good knowledge onLinux systemswithApache Proxy configurations
- Knowledge on Data Encryption/Decryptiontools
- Expertise on SAP Content Server installation, upgrade and support
- Consulting experience on one or more functional SAP components
- Good knowledge/experience onAzure Cloud Platform
- A good command of the English language (orally and in writing)
- Strong in identifying problems and devising solutions
- Being able to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Strong affinity withMicrosoft and SAP products
- A customer-oriented, proactive and pragmatic attitude
- Experience withimplementations, migrations and support projects
- Experience withdifferent SAP Technical protocols
- Experience withSolution Manager
- Some experience with integration between ABAP Back-end systems (including Proxy)
- Experience with Support and Operations
- Good social and communication skills
- Demonstrable SAP Basis experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and oversee a Linux-based Encryption platform that is designed to protect SAP data stored outside of the EU, ensuring the operational health, effectiveness and performance of critical components including SAP NetWeaver and SAP Web Dispatcher.
- Execute system maintenance duties, such as upgrades and the application of SAP (Security) notes, while also overseeing system capacity and accessibility in compliance with change management standards.
- Foster collaboration with Dutch colleagues and international counterparts to drive project progression and service enhancements, integrating smoothly with existing IT infrastructure and services by NSE (ITS) and Deloitte Global ITS.
- Engage in projects focused on, but not limited to enhancing the NSE Encryption platform, aligning with project objectives and contributing to their successful execution.
- Utilize in-depth SAP technical expertise and practical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems to maintain and optimize the SAP landscape.
- Jointly monitor the progression and implementation of projects and service changes, ensuring adherence to Deloitte IT standards.
- Drive continuous improvements within the SAP Portal & Gateway, refining functionality and elevating the user experience.
- Work closely with Deloitte's partners to deliver high-quality solutions, identify gaps, and facilitate the resolution of issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct proactive daily monitoring of SAP systems, rapidly addressing incidents and problems efficiently to minimize operational disruptions and conform with service level agreements.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
