Summary
Perform functions related to the research, analysis, review, and execution of changes across SAP functional modules, instances, tenants and supporting technologies including SAP ECC, SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA), SAP CPI, SAP CPQ, SAP Subscription Billing, SAP SCI, and other modules implemented in FARO CREAFORM's SAP landscape.
Essential Functions
- Support and maintain the multiple instances that comprise the FARO SAP landscape.
- Support FARO's SAP instances and tenants configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
- Distribute the online resources workload and monitor and manage the SAP background jobs scheduling.
- Manage the printing subsystems for all SAP instances.
- Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.
- Monitor all SAP systems including work processes, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.
- Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.
- Collaborate with Data Center representatives as required to request and implement corrections, upgrades, system assessments, and other standard activities that require Data Center involvement.
- Implements SAP OSS Notes in the development environments as required per service requests or projects.
- Provide periodic status reports of SAP systems and related resources as requested by Management.
- Manage the scheduling and configuration of batch jobs across SAP instances as required by business process owners.
- Oversee and proactively alert IT Leadership of real or impending system performance or storage issues
