Role Description
This is a contractual opportunity as a SAP B1 Techno/Functional Consultant role located on-site in Chennai. As a consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Business One solutions, analyzing business processes, providing consulting services, and optimizing financial operations.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP B1 Techno / Functional Consultant with expertise in manufacturing and finance domains. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to gather requirements for custom add-ons and enhancements. This role involves designing technical solutions, developing custom functionalities, and ensuring seamless integration of third-party applications using APIs and SAP Business One Service Layer. This opportunity is with our client.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
o Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in SAP Business One add-on development or a similar role.
o Proficiency in SAP Business One SDK, including development of User Defined Objects (UDO), User Defined Fields (UDF), and User Defined Tables (UDT).
o Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, or similar.
o Experience with SAP Business One integration technologies (DI-API, B1WS, B1IF) is
preferred.
o Knowledge of SAP Business One functional modules and business processes. o Experience with version control systems(e.g.,DevOps) and agile development
methodologies is a plus.
• Skills:
o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
DUTIES
• Testing:
o Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for
developed add-ons.
• Support:
o Provide documentation ,training, and supporttoend- users for newly developed add-
ons.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom add-ons and existing SAP Business
One functionalities.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP Business One SDK features, patches, and updates. o Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development
processes and best practices.
• Project Management:
o Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and other developers to
ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• SAP Business One certification in development is preferred.
DIRECT REPORTS
This position holds no formal supervisory authority, is responsible for reporting insights to colleagues and management.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This position is completed in an office setting.
TRAVEL
This position requires occasional travel.
WORK AUTHORIZATION
Must be authorized to work in the country of employment.
