Position Summary
SAP Ariba Tech Senior Consultant
SAP Ariba Tech Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end integration of all Ariba solutions with the backend ERP system, ensuring adherence to established processes while effectively managing critical situations. The candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of middleware in relation to Ariba integration and demonstrate a willingness to embrace challenges. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of understanding key business areas and proposing alternatives and suggestions to ensure the sustainability of the solution. The individual will possess the requisite skills to become a successful Integration Architect and contribute to complex global implementations. You will be responsible for:
- Establishing connectivity between Ariba solutions and the backend ERP system.
- Collaborating with the cloud connector team to strategize the connection architecture based on the number of backend systems.
- Creating projects, connections, maintaining cross-references, custom mappings, and lookups.
- Configuring custom routing settings to accommodate the requirements for connecting with multiple ERP systems.
- Demonstrating experience in troubleshooting issues in transaction tracker.
- Engaging with SOAMANAGER and SPRO settings for all master and transactional data flows.
- Collaborating with Ariba shared services to address custom requirements, such as XSLT and system ID changes.
- Conducting reviews of functional specifications.
- Preparing technical specifications that capture comprehensive details.
- Performing technical and functional unit testing.
- Tracking timesheets accurately.
- Utilizing project management tools as per training.
- Interacting with functional teams to facilitate issue resolution.

Qualifications:
Must have Skills:
- 6 to 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in the Ariba integration space, focusing on integrating all Ariba solutions with backend SAP systems.
- Experience collaborating with Ariba shared services for cutovers, builds, and customizations.
- Proficient in performing custom mapping within the CIG tool.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement functional processes.
- Experience in writing technical specification documents.
- Familiarity with peer-reviewed documentation.
- Proven experience working in both small and large teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's or master's Degree.
